The School for Schools, adapted from Jeanne C. Meister’s Strategic Umbrella (1998), is a project based on the idea of developing transferable educational leadership competence. Within this context project objectives are:
A. train teachers to apply educational leadership to resolve without fear critical situations in the post-pandemic setting,
B. strengthen school leadership to improve teaching and learning,
C. eliminate disparities and promote the digitalization of education The project working packages will develop an innovative methodology to improve educational leadership competence among teachers. Specifically:
- Training Curriculum for school teachers on educational Upskilled leadership,
- A Leadership Education Blended course for teachers,
- LET – Leadership Education for Teachers Online Space,
- Online Collection of Good Practices an e-handbook readable from mobile for applying pedagogical leadership for teachers inside and outside the classroom.
The project will inform a large number of members of the target groups and about 500 teachers will be involved at various levels. The consortium envisaged an effective re-adaptation of the project results after piloting to make them useful in the long term. Version 2 of WP3 and WP4 aims to ensure lifelong learning in the mode of self-directed learning. The use of qualified trainers in the webinars, the shadow coaching approach of the training are particularly well suited for skill transfer.
